What's Involved? |

- St Chad's Trust will assist young adults with
grants towards travel costs and, in some cases, towards
maintenance, to enable the participant to work in selected,
church-based projects, here and in our companion diocese.
- British participants may find themselves
working in local church community programmes in Malaysia in one
of our other companion churches overseas, for six to twelve
months.
- The trust will also help young adults from
our companion churches come here to serve as volunteers in local
church and community projects.
- The trust will give priority to people who
might not otherwise be able to afford this opportunity, though
all participants will be expected to raise a part of the cost by
their own fund-raising.
- All successful applicants will be required to
undertake a period of local preparation and training beforehand,
and to speak about their experience in churches and youth groups
in their own area on returning home.
