Under the auspices of the Diocese of Lichfield World Mission Programme - with the sponsorship and encouragement of St Chad's Trust - the Diocese of Lichfield and its companion dioceses in the Province of South East Asia: Kuching, Sabah, West Malaysia, offer a unique opportunity for Christians between the ages of 18 and 35 to spend from 6-12 months overseas, sharing in church-based projects in local communities, learning from another culture and experiencing the life of the church there. Participants accepted for the programme are known as St Chad's Volunteers. The programme helps these young adults 'live the gospel' in mission, through service and outreach projects in another country and culture.
